The objectives of the Conference included promotion of awareness for current industrialization process in the Arab Gulf region, and highlighting possibilities of economic and industrial cooperation between the region and the Federal Republic of Germany. The Conference also aimed at analyzing proposed industrial investment possibilities, strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation, and exploring the potential of universities and research institutes for the support of the Gulf technological and industrial development.
